BYA
provides access to East Baltimore County elementary and middle school youth, regardless of family situation or financial circumstances. BYA is a Christian Community Nonprofit.
Six Ways BYA is Unique

This name change more accurately reflects the programming.
Our mission is holistic and extensive. BYA offers faith-formative, creative arts, and sports-based activities, along with life skills lessons, to build resilience and an enduring hope for generational change.

Our Programs are the Most Affordable, Holistic, and Relational Programs Around!!
Before and After School Program- Starts 1st Day of School. Morning Program Opens at 7 AM and includes transportation to school. After School includes pick up from school and is open until 6 PM.
Morning includes yoga, wellness lessons, prayer, check-ins, and snacks.
Afternoon includes snacks, different sports sessions (soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, archery, boxing, fitness, gymnastics, golf, and more), Art, S.T.E.M., Financial Management, homework help, mentoring for relational, emotional, and faith growth, lessons on character, teamwork, and faith formation, archery, roller skating, water games, and bouncy houses.
(We don't accept government vouchers but can except social services support)
$200 a month for the Before and After Program, and $100 a month for the After School Program. Register on ProCare.

Flag Football Clinic- Ages 5-9, five weekly sessions for 2 hours from 6:15-8:15 PM. Players will receive high-level skill and athletic training from experienced players and or coaches. Players receive shirts/medals, as well as mindset and faith lessons. Limited to 4-8 players per age group. $35 for BYA members and $55 for non-members. (those currently not in a program)
Soccer Clinic - Ages 5-9, five weekly sessions for 2 hours from 6:15-8:15. Players receive a high level of instruction from a former D-1 and professional player and teacher who understands the skills, knowledge, and methods needed to reach their next level. Limited to 4-8 players per age group. Mindset and devotions are also provided, with shirts/medals. $35 for BYA members, $55 for non-members (those currently not in a program)
Gymnastics- Ages 5-9, five weekly one-and-a-half-hour sessions from 6:15-7:45. Gymnasts receive a high level of instruction from former gymnasts and trainers. Training prepares them to try out for teams and competitions. Mindset and faith-formation lessons and medals included. Groups limited to 4-8 per age group or skill level. $35 for BYA members and $55 for non-members.
Baseball- Ages 5-9, five weekly one-and-a-half-hour sessions from 6:15-7:45. Groups limited to 4 players. Hitting, Pitching, and Fielding sessions from experienced players and coaches. High-level, tailored instruction will prepare the players for their next level of recreational or travel/club team participation. Mindset and faith formation lesson, training shirts, and medal included. $35 for BYA members, and $55 for non-members
Boxing- Ages 5-9, five weekly one-and-a-half-hour sessions from 6:15-7:45. Groups limited to 4-6. Athletic movement, fitness, punches, footwork, and movement/defense skills are taught. Medals are included with mindset and faith formation lessons.

Summer Camp - Starts the last week of June and runs for six weeks through the first week of August. Camp runs from 9-3, but it offers before- and after-camp options starting at 7:30 AM and running until 6 PM.
Each week, there are two trips (one to the pool), plus other adventures: 10 different sports, archery, gymnastics, boxing, arts, team building games, S.T.E.M. building projects, Financial Management Games, water games, a bouncy house, fitness, and more! Also, lessons on faith formation, character, growth mindsets, and social skills. Bikes, scooters, playground equipment, rockets, and roller skates during recess. Popcorn, Cotton Candy, and Snowball. Rewards for displaying leadership traits.
$550 for the 9-3 camp and $625 for the extended. Only new students are required to register; returning students, please register with the BYA director.
We don't expect government vouchers, but we can take social service support.
