Giving Access and Transforming Lives

We serve under-resourced communities and give youth access to holistic programming that transforms body, soul, and spirit to succeed.

We give access to all youth regardless of family situations, finances, and transportation!

We desire to serve youth and help them GEAR UP for success athletically, academically, personally, and spiritually as they progress into middle and high school. We serve the West Inverness Area in Dundalk, where there are over 2,500 elementary and middle school youth, and provide affordable access to before-during after-school programs, summer camps, or sports leagues.

Our organization offers unique and innovative solutions to a significant problem. We don't just provide before and after-school programs, summer camps, and sports training. We create a supportive and nurturing environment that addresses the holistic needs of the youth, setting them up for a successful future.

    Six Ways BSA is Unique:

  1. Proactively serve elementary and middle school youth
  2. Give access to over ten different sports
  3. Serve churches, youth/families, and schools
  4. Combine athletic, personal/spiritual, social/emotional, and academic support
  5. Serve communities with limited resources to provide youth programming
  6. We strengthen the community by developing youth leaders and hiring them as they enter high school.

BSA Adds New Programing at a New Site!

With parents' demand and the lack of affordable and quality options in the area, BSA is stepping up to fill the gap. Starting this school year, we're expanding our services to include before-school programming in our existing programs. We pick children up from their homes and transport them to our new facility. Youth receive snacks, stretching, exercise, prayer, therapeutic art, and Christian devotions before having some free time. Our after-school program has started and is quickly filling up. With our fields at our new site, we can offer more outdoor sports, which the kids and parents love. We started our Next-Level Sports training for soccer, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics. We provide high-level training to help kids develop skills and confidence to participate in leagues. We offer the most affordable and holistic programming for youth and families.

We started our middle school leadership program that gives former fifth graders from BSA the opportunity to return, develop as leaders, and serve as assistant coaches. We have five students doing a great job!

Our new site is fantastic. We moved up the street to Patapsco Church, where we have fields and designated spaces for an indoor recreational area, snack room, and "Chill" area. The church has allowed us to tailor the spaces to our needs, creating child-friendly spaces for learning, fun, and relaxation.

“I love this program. Sure, the sports are great, but my children get so much more for life; BSA programs are not just about sports; it's about shaping young lives and inspiring them to reach their full potential. - 3rd Grade Parent

Our Programs

We develop the whole athlete, body, soul and spirit.

" This program was sent from heaven; it is just what I needed to provide for my son; the sports are great, but the other lessons on school, character, confidence, and life are what sets them apart."

Mom of a 3rd-grade player

" So thankful BSA makes it possible for my son to play sports, but even better, they motivate him in school and to be a better person."
